Anabelle's graduation from kindergarten day! Apparently this is a big thing now? Jason was traveling and the rest of us were kind of a comedy of errors as far as getting pictures/videos... My phone died, then Abbey's phone died, then Maddie, with the only phone left of the bunch to take pics got up and went to the bathroom for the grand finale- the actual cap and gown part of the ceremony. So our pictures are a little bit pitiful.
Who knew that along with wearing a cap and gown and receiving her kindergarten diploma (I'm sorry but I am kind of rolling my eyes a little at this one!), she would also have three other costume changes and corresponding dances including...
this costume...
(that went along with a song about hello from all the children of the world)
This one that involved lots of hand motions and i'm really not sure what else...
(oh and a not pictured African safari dance of some sort)
This costume where we were treated to the kindergarten class doing the tango... Yes, that is my 6 year old with her hand in the air and hip jutted out to the side...
And finally a very blurry cap and gown picture...
At the end they had them out of the cap and gowns so quick that we didn't even get a close up!
All in all, quite the entertaining afternoon!
